Edited by artist Joachim Hamou, this publication offers a current analysis of the similar issued shared by the fields of contemporary art and of the performing arts, through essays, interviews, and an unpublished play by British artist Cally Spooner.
This publication is framing specific types of transdisciplinary work and working economies situated between theatre and visual art. The collection is assembled in a more or less linear historic timeline edited by Joachim Hamou who took the initiative for this publication based on his research with the Danish School of Performing Arts. The purpose of this publication is to be a source of inspiration for other practitioners, students and curious minds.
Joachim Hamou (born 1967 in Montpellier, France, lives and works in Paris) is an artist mostly making video and performances with a social agenda and part of Paraguay Press in Paris.
