Sub Rosa
35 years after the release of their critically acclaimed albumVibrant Stapler Obscures Characteristic Growth the British dadaist group Hastings of Malawi have released a new album—an epic sound poem entitled Visceral Underskinnings. It is a 40 minute film without light that reflects on the human condition, on modern society, on the nature of telephony and electricity and an attempt to make sense of the world in which we live that provides no answers.

First-time release of the tapes that are said to have inspired Manuel Göttsching's classic, Inventions for Electric Guitar. Recorded between 1972 and 1976, these revolutionary tracks by M.A.L. aka Daniel Malempré were made using only an electric guitar Fender Stratocaster 1964, a Wah-Wah pedal, and a reel to reel recorder.

This album by Ultraphallus lead singer is a combination of his different forms of music, from ambient-drone, electro-acoustic, sampling and field recordings to free-jazz. Phil Maggi has invited a few generous collaborators (Oren Bloedow, Maja Jantar, Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, Tom Malmendier, Gabriel Séverin and Ludovic Medery) on these eight tracks inspired by Henry Corbin's writings, Nico, Scott Walker and traditional music.

In 1991, German art group The Oval Language built a multimedia artwork exploring the irrational impact of Leipzig's Monument to the Battle of the Nations to German generations throughout the years. Tonaliens investigates the inner dimensions and outer limits of just intonation, exploring the harmonic space with voice, brass, invented instruments, sine waves and live electronics. This record brings together two live performances from 2015 in Amsterdam and Berlin. With liner notes by band tuba Robin Hayward, and detailed photos and screenshots.

Swarming
Chantier is a collective project with Pascal Battus on found objects, Bertrand Gauguet on saxophone, and Eric La Casa on microphones. The trio's proposal is to develop a sound practice created on building sites, amongst the machines and the builders. The fourth part of this project was recorded on the building site of the Philharmonie in Paris.

During his exhibition at Westfälischer Kunstverein in Münster, artist Zin Taylor invited musicians Christina Vantzou and John Also Bennett to interpret a 90-meter panoramic wall drawing as a musical graphic score. This vinyl edition gathers the recording of this minimal music performance, along with a 180 cm leporello reproduction of the wall drawing.
